    Kathak Ashwamedh – Rules & Regulations:

    • Age of the participants should be 15 to 35 years only. No one below or above this range can participate in Kathak Aswamedh. Proper ID proof showing age is compulsory.
    • Participants has to fill online form for entry and obtain the participation token by paying proper fees online and then will have to upload their kathak video of 8 mins.
    • There is no minimum criteria for the education of participants. Participants can participate in kathak Ashwamedh regardless of his educational qualification.
    • First round will be on uploaded videos. Last date to submit the video is 20th March 2025.
    • ⁠Results of the first round will be declared on 22nd March 2025 on our website and will be informed to the participants through mail and on phone they have submitted in the entry form.
    • If the duration is more than 8 mins, participants will be disqualified and will not be allowed to perform and fees will not be refunded.
    • Semifinals and finals will be in Bhopal from 15th to 17th of April 2025 Venue : Shahid Bhawan Bhopal
    • Participants need to upload their presentation of a solo recital of 5 to 8 minutes in traditional format for the first round.
    • Presentation should be divided into 4-5 min. technical (Taal) and 3-4 min. Abhinaya.
    • Participants are expected in the traditional kathak costume and jewelry with Ghongroos.
    • Judgment will be done by a panel of 3 Judges Internationally acclaimed dancers and rhythmist of the filed.
    • Decision of the panel will be final, no objections of any sort will be entertained.
    • If qualified for the second round participants will be invited for the second round at Bhopal with 3 accompanists, lodging and boarding will be provided by organisers.
    • In the second round participants need to present a solo recital of 12 to 15 minutes in traditional format live with 3-4 musicians.
    • Presentation should be divided into 8-9 min. technical (Taal) and 5-7 min. Abhinaya.
    • Only 5 mins will be given for stage preparation, instrument tuning on stage.
    • If qualified for the final round participants have to perform in Bhopal on 17th April 2025.
    • In finals participants need to present a solo recital professionally for 45 minutes in traditional format live with 3-4 musicians.
    • Presentation should be divided as technical (Taal) and Abhinaya.
    • Organising team holds the rights to amend the rules and regulations from time to time without any prior notice.
